Weird stuff. A friend of mine is hiking the Appalachian Trail. Somewhere near the border of VA and WV there is a secret government base or underground city.
This thing is huge and since the AT hikers go right by it many of them take pics from the woods and many have been approached and had the pics destroyed.

Floride is good....right? My city voted in Floride 3 years ago, I voted against it, but we lost by about 300 votes out of 2500.
I asked my dentist the other day if it has made a difference and he just looked at me...

Oh and this nice little tidbit... Fine..Fine..everywhere a fine...

I know already some of you are shrugging your shoulders saying..nah..this is just a bunch of crap....well maybe it is..but what if it isn't...

I had a friend in the Army many, many moons ago who worked inside "Weather Mountain". One night, after many adult beverages and a variety of controlled substances, he started talking about it (apparently a BIG no-no). He talked mostly of the train in the mountain....a full size train with 5 locomotives and several hundred cars that transport supplies and people from place to place inside the mountain. After he realized what he was doing, he immediately clammed up and broke into a cold sweat (which apparently wasn't from the beverages or substances ingested earlier). I asked him to go on, but he said he couldn't, and was visibly shaking in fear. He said even mentioning anything about what goes on "inside" can get him court martialled and executed!!

As for the fluoride thing, yeah, it's a crock and a half (fluoride, not the story). I quit using any type of toothpaste or other products to brush my teeth a little over 20 years ago, only water (un-fluoridated) and a toothbrush. I haven't had a cavity or other dental problem in nearly 18 years. Prior to that time, I would average 1-2 cavities a year. My dad was a chemistry/biology teacher (with a Master's in both) and always shared his experiments with me. He showed me how repeated doses of toothpaste (both with or without fluoride) actually caused softening and decay in teeth compared with the control group that used only water and a brush. The worst were the so-called "plaque removing pastes". Yeah, they got rid of plaque alright...but they also ate away at the outer layers of the tooth, speeding up the decay process.

I could write several pages about stupid laws that hardly anyone knows about....such as the one that was just repealed in Wichita a few years ago that made it a punishable offense not to carry a loaded gun within the city limits!!!

How many of you knew that we have a stonehenge in America with a new ten commandments?

Hahahha that's what I was thinking.

FLoride ispioson. Most major cities are like NY with a push for bunk, revenue generating tickets.

On a side note, I have a family memeber hiking the AT. He went through that area recently. Do you really know someone on the trail Mark, or was that just part of the post. They may have met each other.... he has mentioned people from TX.

If you ever talk to him, ask him if he met "Slingshot", my wife's much younger cousin.

Will do. I can post a message for him on his trail journal. I log on every now and then and look at pics he posted and catch up on his progress.

My uncle hiked the AT several years ago at the ripe young age of 60. Of course, he ran the Boston Marathon (his first) at the age of 52, and has run about 100 others since then, including the New York Marathon.

I read about Josh (Slingshot) on the trail journal of a couple he met. He's 17 years old, graduated High School a year early and set out with his Burmese Mountain dog "Dante" to conquer the AT. They gave him the name because he id like David and the AT is his Goliath... cool huh?

Dante couldn't handle it so he is home, but Josh is still going (Currently nearby in PA).

I know, yet another off topic disussion. Thank you mods for not being too legalistic here on Jeepz

Is your guy Northbound or Southbound?

My post in the thread without an end:

It's not good. I have often wondered if my dream of having an election which ousted every incumbant in the house, senate, white house, and all the rest of the elected backstabbers what would happen. I feel pretty confident that the incumbant government would consider it an "emergency" because of the "enevitable instability to follow" or something to that effect.

from that link you posted about Mt Weather:
Furthermore, there is no publicly known Executive Order outlining the restoration of the Constitution after a national emergency has ended. Unless the parallel government at Mount Weather decides out of the goodness of its heart to return power to Constitutional authority, the United States could experience an honest-to-God coup d'etat posing as a national emergency.

See.... I knew it.:D
