Losing Clutch Fluid

I was driving my jeep last week, and went to stop at a light, only to find out that my clutch wouldn't release, and therefore stalled out. Upon further inspection, I found my cluch cylinder empty...so I filled it, primed the clutch and went on my way. Now two days ago, same thing happened again. Im losing fluid somewhere, but really don't see any leaks...any suggestions???

Sounds like the curse of the internal slave. Check under the transmission where the engine and bellhousing meet and look for fluid coming from there. ad news is you will probably need a new slave clyinder. Worse news is you will have to pull the whole transmission to change it out.[addsig]

Lost fluid 1.29 fill up the tank with fluid and pump out the air about a half hour. New Slave parts and labor about 300.00 bucks. Getting it done and over with priceless. Dude I feel your pain just went thru this mess. Dealer here wanted 169.00 for the part and Napa had it for 130.00 good luck tug :-( [addsig]

I'd get a new clutch kit from Carolina Clutch, get a genuine LUK clutch and it will come with the internal slave. Best price going, and do the labor yourself and save a bundle :-D [addsig]
