K&N Drop In

Ok, so I forked out the bucks for a K&N drop in filter. Put it in yesterday, and although it may have been my imagination, it sure felt like there was just a bit more pep to the engine. It definitely ran smoother and sounded better. So, I took it mudding and now with the extra 500 lbs of mud, I can't tell if it's making a difference or not!

The documentation that came with it was pretty vague as far as when to clean and re-oil it...any recommendations?

A K&N drop in was the best mod I made to my 2.5L. It's worth the money!

When it gets dirty and the red color starts to fade.
They always seem to have more power when the oil is fresh.
