Yes If you take the hose off and look inside there is a black plastic piece in there you will need to pull it out with the help of a screw driver to release the lock. I had mine removed and it was a little peppier but after a few weeks my gas milage ( which went up at first ) Started to drop- I think it was me being a kid again and jumping on it. so I put it back in, Then I removed just the piece coming out of the front of the air cleaner. Milage up from 16ish to 18ish, without the urge to punch it as much.[addsig]
