Are you talking about the snorkle? Seen a few around town and every one looks to be on a vehicle whose idea of offroad is pulling into the driveway. They were made for a reason and they work, but is it something you really need? If you are in some DEEP mud or water it could be very helpful, otherwise. . . Just my humble opinion.

Sorry 'bout that! Here I am running my mouth about something that doesn't even apply to my Jeep! Gotta watch out for us CJers :-D

I have the Rustys airtube on my TJ. It is a K&N filter and a new mount that bolts into where the stock airbox was. Works good and its cheap. I did notice some gain in HP and MPG. Good upgrade plus the filter is washable so you can clean it after muddin.[addsig]

I've got his airtube and K&N on my '95 YJ 2.5L Jeep. It's a steel tube that attaches to the end of the stock airtube. The K&N then attaches to this steel airtube. A lot more power, and quicker throttle response.[addsig]

yup what bounty said. Worth the money. I actually have the YJ model in mine ( he gave it to me by accident) but i got it fixed up where it works fine, I know Rusty and live about 45 minutes from his shop and go up there all the time.[addsig]
