I found a bone yard today in worcester and i found a drivers side vent window! there was only one left out of 6 xjs the rest were stripped ! Price five bucks not bad considering i went to a jeep bone yard and they wanted fifty dollars! ouch! also i picked parts for a caravan.. I love pull youre own parts places!!! Cost 2 dollars to enter, well, iam hoping it doesnt rain so i can replace that plexi glass!! Steve :-O :-D

Thats how junk yards used to be. You walked around for a couple of hours, wondering how the hell cars got bent up the way they were, and wondering what the story behind the wreck was, then you finally found something you needed, removed it, and took it up to the counter where a couple of gruff guys with cigarettes hanging out of their unshaven mouths said " two bucks". You paid and off you went. Now, most places won't let you walk around because of the "liability", and if you ask for something, they key it into their computer and tell you they can have it here tomorrow for two hundred bucks. Of course, you used to take your starter or alternator to a shop and have it rebuilt for twenty bucks, when now, you go to Auto Ghetto and pay $90 for a mass rebuilt one that may work and may not. Poorboy was the name of the place in Worcester Sam's pull apart of Rt 20? If so I've had alot of luck in the past getting parts there for other past vehicles. I'm suprised tat the XJ's were striped the everytime I've been there it's mostly Asians buying things for their Ricers :lol: :lol: ..........Bullet[addsig]

Yeah thats the place bullet! i own a 1990 limited xj . And i think your rite on the folks buying Fast and furious used parts! ha ha . So bullet do you know of any area to do some 4x4ing! LOL Back in College I used to drink everclear wihch was 200 proof. We used to lite the campfires with that stuff just like a flaming Moe :lol: I don't know of any areas in Mass to off road, I'm in Rhode Island and the cool thing about Sam's pull apart was for like $40 it was all you can carry, I remember some caveman type guy carrying a rear truck axle...............Bullet[addsig]
