I have a set of used hard doors........Help!!!

I have a 81 CJ7 without a top. I assumed all hard doors for the CJ-7 would fit? I picked up a pair of old primered doors with windows. I put new latches and handles in however, the door latch doesnt line up with the slot in the frame? Earily model doors different?

I think that the early cj 7 and later cj 7 had different doors, I think that they changed somewhere between 78-80 someone else might now for sure sorry dude that sucks[addsig]
