how to convert CHEROKEE PIONER 1984 as a classic

HI I own a Cherokee pioner 1984 2.5L 4wd It still works,

I want to budget how much money do I need to get for convert it as a classic (it means to me, new engine,new electric system, every original piece, like grid, mirrors, new seats, lights etc.) so I can use it in a daily bases.

Can anyone tell me, what engines can be used for this car (more efficient and powerful) or where I can find compatible engine for this car.

since that is the chevy v6, you can only use the larger chevy v6, i think its a 3.4. the engine bay in yours is different then the 85 and on cherokees which had the inline 6. because of that, the inline 6 won;t fit.
