Hot Rear End Dana 35c

lookin for a few suggestions.......
After installing a new set of carrier gears, washers and pin ( a nest kit) my rear end is warm to the touch after a realitively short 15 min drive...it is not scolding hot just warm....could this be due to the new carrier gears "breaking" in or something else.....any replies would be greatly appreciated...thanks all

Going on 33's

also...when i had the axle out all the bearing and such where rolling pretty smoothly. I'm stumped now cause i have also been informed that a little heat is nothin to be concerned about. :?:

A little heat is probably nothing to worry about. Now enough heat that you can't touch the axle, you've roasted a bearing and will soon come to a screeching halt.

Did you replace any bearings, or bend the axle tube?
