Horn won't work, Help??

Where is the horn relay on '77 CJ7? I have 12V power at the steering wheel button and horn works when i straight wire to battery, but when you push horn button, won't work!!!
Schmatics in my service book shows a relay but doesn't say where. I've had my Jeep for a few years but new to the site. :-?

Sounds like you are going to have to get behind the button. The button depresses a metal plunger down so that it makes contact with a metal contact on the plastic turn signal sleeve. This is only accessible if you remove the steering wheel and retaining plate. Careful not to break the plastic cylinder that the metal plunger resides in, it's tricky to get it out in one piece.[addsig]
