I just did the TFI upgrade to my 79 CJ7 258. Thinking about doing the Blazer motor upgrade soon. It sounds like my alternator will have a hard time keeping up with that combo, lights, etc. I have no clue what amp range I need if I get one of these high output deals. I see 100, 135, 160, 180 as options out there. I want to keep cost down, if I do actually go through with this. What rating should I get? I saw those rebuild kits to raise the output at JCW, but it says that it will lower the output at idle, which I don't want.
