My 02 Jeep wrangler shakes really bad around 30-40 MPH but when I go faster it seems to slowly go away. At first I thought it was the 35x14.5x15 super swampers that I had on but I ended up getting some new tires that where a little more road friendly. I ended up getting 33x12.5x15 falken wide peaks. They look great and feel really good but it still shake? :x man what's the deal. Also there is a lot of play in my steering wheel. Could that be the issue? Please help.

A vibe in that range that you can drive through is generally a tire balance issue. I'd either have the shop rebalance them or take it to another shop with a quality computerized Hunter tire balancer than can also check roadforce. The Hunter machine will tell which corner of the jeep to place each tire.

The play in the steering wheel is unrelated, and is either worn steering components or a loose/worn front trackbar.

Cool dude, just learned something

+1 I have a place I buy tires because of the great deals, but his balancer is not the best. I always feel a little vibe I get tires there. So I take it to a place that has a good balancer and you guessed it no vibes.........
The good machines are expensive so not all shops get them, because most tire balancers do fine with smaller tires so the cost is an issue.
My 02.
