HELP! yj won't start

I'm new here but I need help 1991 yj 4.0 cranks fine but will not start it's getting fuel and I have spark occasionally it will start 3 time in 5 days and when it does it runs fine all ground are good new battery cable any help would be great thanks:???:

Is there any codes? You could turn the key off and on three times ending on and count the engine light blinks. The codes are two digit codes.
Second I take it cranks fine but doesn't start? Or describe exactly what happens.

Quick off the cuff. Crank position sensor.

Cam shaft sensor will do that.. Under the distributor cap.

Yup. Mine did EXACTLY the same thing as you are describing, and the camshaft position sensor cured it.
