Who makes the best gears and one-piece axle kits. I just ordered a set from Randy's Ring and Pinion, and was just informed by Far RIght, that they are not vary good, thank you for the advise, hopefully they will reverse the order in the morning.
But anyways, the one-piece axle kit is for an AMC 20 widetrac.
The gears are 4.56. Thanks for any input.

I don't know about the gears but I have the Yukon 1 piece axles and they are forged. I would've gone with a set of Richmond gears, I've always had good luck with those. 8)

I'm new to this site, but I know a little about gears. So I'll jump right in.
The best gears you can buy are made in America. The gears made oversees in Taiwan, Saipan and wherever are junk. Why you ask? Because companies like Dana and Precision Gear lap their gears. That means that they check them together when they are manufactured. Yukon is coming out with a new set that is lapped. If you pay $115 for a set of gears, they are not lapped.
As far as one piece kits go. I say pick one. I know that Superior used to offer a warranty on their kits.
