help me

Welcome to jeeps.com. Can you tell us a little more about your jeep ? Is it the 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine ? If you can update your vehicle information on your personal settings it will be beneficial for assistance . Is there a check engine light on ? If so , can you get the codes ? By cycling the key on and off three times and leaving it on the third time , you can count the exact amount of times the check engine light flashes. Record these to get the codes. For example , if the light flashes three times and pauses and then four times , pause , and repeats the same sequence over and over you have one trouble code , code 34. You may have more so you'll have to let the light play out until your sure you've got all codes.
So , the engine starts and idles fine ? No stalling at idle ? No miss or stall on acceleration ? Just what happens when you try to accelerate ? Will the engine stall if you press the accelerator far enough ? You may have weak fuel pressure from a bad electric fuel pump or restriction in the fuel system such as a clogged or water logged fuel filter. Can you do the work yourself or will you have someone do it ? Fuel pressure needs to be read with a fuel pressure gauge. There could be more problems diagnostically such as weak spark upon acceleration or even a problem with the jeeps computer (PCM ). We'll need more information to,try to assist. Obtaining the trouble codes of any are helpful. Whatever information about the jeep , history of repair or attempts to repair and the exact drivability problem will be necessary. Please post back your findings . Thank you for your membership at jeeps.com.
