If your temp. gauge is showing normal (slightly less than half) it´s probably in your heater controls or somewhere else in the cooling system. Have found on earlier models down by the heater there is a wire control to a little door (flap) that sometimes pops off, can be checked with a flashlight under the dash on the passengers side. Have heard air blocks in the cooling system mentioned, the best remedy seems to be, park it on a steep hill nose high and rev. it up some. Have also heard of plugged heaters, but 95 sounds a little to new for that one (crud settles in the heater). Have also seen the air intake for the heater plugged with pine needles.

Hope it´s not the dash, been there done that, not fun or easy. Unless you have really tiny hands.[addsig]

You could just be low on coolant. A guy I used to work with changed the heater hoses, and the core in a mustang. (Royal pain) Turns out he was just low on coolant.
