Having trouble with my avatar.

For some reason, I am having problems uploading my avatar. I use the upload feature click submit, and nothing.
Further, my old avatar disappeared one day. I didn't delete it.
It is less than 80x80 pixels and only 2 kb.

Any ideas why? Did I miss something.

Have you tried transferring it from a web address rather than your computer's hard disk?
