well, i picked up my next car after selling the jeep. the new one needed a head gasket and a few odds and ends because i bought it NOT RUNNING. after the head gasket, wires, plugs, radiator cap, shaved head, brake pads, windshield, and inspection stickers, the total i've spent on it is less than what i sold the jeep for!

its a............. '96 Dodge Neon 4door with tint all around and a kenwood 10 disc changer.

4cyl gas mileage bring it on! i need something to drive back and forth to school (college)... 3 hour drive!

Staying with Mopar...I guess that the positive way to look at it. :? You're putting an 8 cyl and some 35" swampers on right? Or did you buy it as a bump or obstacle so you can test the articulation of the Jeep which you are about to build? Really though, all I have to say is congrats.

I (a.k.a. phillika) am a sporadic and less frequent poster but I'm sure you'll be missed here on the Jeep forum...unless you plan to Jeeptify your neon and with roll bars, big meats, and an 8 cyl motor. Seeing as how you're going off to college and beginning a whole new phase of your life, if you kept the posting at the intensity you have been, quite frankly I'd become a little worried. So many women, so many like-minded peers, so much trouble to get into...time's-a-wastin'!!! That's not to say you couldn't have a Jeep too.

Hey, you had your reasons for making the decision but you can predict what most of us Jeepers are going to say about buying a neon. hehehehe. It sounds like you've had a lot of hobbies in the past and, from my perspective, that's the way to do it. Experience life! There are tons of things to do and experience. Save a some money and time for the other stuff.

All that aside, have fun and don't get into too much trouble!! ...oh, and don't forget about those pesky grades you have to maintain.
