had to get new tires

one of my old tires got a bubble on it so i had to get some others. since i had to get different ones and i wanted to paint my rims black, i bought some that showed up craigslist for 200. black eagle alloys with 265/75/16s bfg ATs. the tires are ok and will last another year or two so it seemed to be a good deal to me.

i thought so. the wife was less then enthused though. i imagined her being ok with it since i saved on the cost of buying four new tires but it didn;t go as i saw it in my mind

i figured she would have appreciated the cost because when she bought me tires last time, they were 1100 for 31s on black steelies. she must have forgotten.

Really?! I have 31s and they don't fit those gaps nearly as well as yours...

i have had two groups of people comment on the sticker, yesterday and today.

yesterday, at the track on base, an older couple came up and commented on the stickers and how they had just done a 10 or 5k zombie run recently and told me about it.

today, i was going to a meeting downtown for work and a group of people walking buy commented on the stickers and cool.

i like them, they are good for laughs and meeting people. every once in a while i think of changing them but then someone comes up and comments on them so i leave them

Yup! I'm stock at the moment... :/ I'm sittin on 31/10.5/R15. Lookin at some 15x14 procomp rims at the moment. Still workin on spacing and what not, then I'll try to get some nice meats for her.

I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow, do a little comparison, but every time I look at this thread I just gotta say somethin about your stance!!

i checked on one of those tire conversion charts and it says my tire is actually larger then your tire. it says its 2.1% larger then a 15" 31. once i add that mine is a 16" rim, the size changes

if i get the fender flares you have, mine will look the same. your flares are cut higher then mine from the factory.
