I have found that you just have to really take your time, think things out, and show these old jeeps alotta love when you go changin things around. too many new things too soon kinda gets em comfused. After installing the blazer motor, heater core, new solenoid, alternator, ignition switch, and many hours of head scratching I think we're on the road to recovery. I have also found that ground is so important in the electrical system and terrible in jeeps. I still won't have a working gas gauge but hey, I ain't gonna try to fix it now, just enjoy the jeep again!

Brother you said a mouth full that time. seems the old parts get jelious over the new parts and just mule up and set down on the job. The more you add the more you need to add. Got mine running like a champ then it would not stop breaks went. Got the heat working good and the wipers needed attintion. Might just be the best to let thing run on them old parts till it wont run no more. tug

yup that is the truth it will never look new but it will be. I was ask to price tugly yesterday and I did so now she may be going going gone. Jeeze if you buy a trasher and giver a bit of TLC and some parts someone will want it before you know it. That is ok I guess! Half of the fun is in fixen one up. If I get to the point where it has a lift tires and all the other little goodies it is not going any where but at this point if I can make a profit and look for yet another so be it. tug

I have a worse problem I get one vehicle running and the otherone gets mad because I didn't pay any attention so it breaks down. Right now the Jeep is running and the Blazer is broke. Who knows what next week will hold.
