Fuel pump problems?! Join the 1996 Jeep Cherokee fuel pump support group! LOL! Replacing the fuel tank seemed to work on mine, seems there's a problem with the fuel system and the company had a memo sent around to Chrysler shops telling them that Jeeps with repetative fuel pump failure should have the fuel tank replaced.

Never heard of a fuel pump reset button on a Jeep.
Chrysler issued TSB #14-06-97 in JUL 97 for "Fuel Pump - Diagnosis", you can get more info from the dealer and see if this helps. TSB=Technical Service Bulletin.
