fuel pressure reg. for the weber carb

does anyone know the proper fuel pressure reg. for the weber carb. mine is flooding out bad and getting way too much fuel. the guy at autozone tried to sell me one that went up to 5 psi. didnt sound right i thought that it was supposed to be around 35 psi. also when i get one does it go before or after the fuel filter? thanks in advance.[addsig]

35 PSI?!?! Maybe for your tires, but not your carb :-D

I've been looking at getting a regulator myself, and i hear that 2.0 - 3.5 PSI is optimal for weber. Anything more will produce flooding. 5 is way too high.[addsig]

You want between 5-8 psi for your fuel pressure, I am running about 6-7psi right now and it does just fine... [addsig]
