Front Ring & Pinion swap?

I got my 91 XJ about a year ago and its been awesome, but I need to swap out my front ring & pinion from a 3.55 to a 3.73 to match my rear 8.8 ford axle. Should I attempt it? Or take it in the shop? I already bought some Yukon 3.73's. Ive taken off my diff. cover to replace the oil and stuff but I've never messed with the gears, any advice or how to's would be great, thank you

If you have never installed gears before I would not attempt it. swapping gears is not rocket science but it does require some know how and the correct tools. you could do.some real damage if this is not done correctly. See if you can hire someone and maybe let you watch over there shoulder.
