F fearhd New member Apr 14, 2011 #1 My friend brought over a 1977 cj7 inline 6 and since the fuel tank was replaced because of rust, its flooding really bad. Could it be the liquid check valve or something else? the carb looks new and the fuel filter was replaced when tank was.

superj Well-known member Apr 15, 2011 #2 Tap on the flat part of the carb, maybe the float is stuck down? Can you see fuel pouring into the throat of the carb while its idling?
