Extra Gears?

Does anyone know what the 3 & 12 are for?
Im sure their gears, and maybe for the 4x4..
But not 100%, can someone help me out?

You didnt explain what you are doing, and I have no idea what the 3 & 12 is referring to.

Are you reffering to your automatic shiffter? As in:
PARK
REVERSE
NEUTRAL
DRIVE
3rd GEAR (auto limit)
2nd GEAR (auto limit)
1st GEAR (lock)

I know what your talking about. Most cars have it it usually for towing or just like speeding up a hill. If you put it in third it will only go up to third gear. The 1-2 is if you start at a dead stop in that gear you will go from 1st to second gear when it wants to. Of your driving put it in 3rd from drive it will put you into 3rd and slow you down depending on how fast you are going and then if you put it in the 1-2 while moving it will put you into 2nd first and then once the rpms go down to about 2000 it will put it into 1st. The 3 you can start in you won't stall in it since it isn't actually starting in 3rd it just goes up to third and 1-2 you can also use a stop but will have to move it up to third or drive. Also you don't even need to push the button in from 1-2 all the way up to in neutral.
