I put a 1 3/4 spacer under my front coils in ye olde 86 cherokee, and the mother shook like michal J. fox at anything over 35 after i hit a bump. i havent even put on the rear shackles yet but im afraid. why? why me? ill throw the shackles on and buy some shims and hope that works. in the mean time help me.

I put a 2" lift on my XJ and it shook also. I put degree shims on the rear and the vibrations are now gone.

Where's the vibration coming from? Most driveline vibes are with the rear driveshaft, but your shake sounds more like death wobble (DW) from the front end.

Have you had it aligned since the lift? The lift will reduce the caster of the front axle, and make it more prone to DW. Any lift larger than the spacers and you'll need longer lower control arms to get enough caster to prevent DW.

if it does turn up to be driveline vibes from the lift... you can get a simple t-case lowering kit for about $25 that would solve the problem for good.
