Covers

I am in the market for a full cover for my 89 Wrangler. I have been looking on 4wd.com and they have 3 or 4 that would fit but are priced from $79 to $180. Does anyone have any input on if the higher dollar cover is better quality or just high priced. Also I am looking for some new seats for the Jeep. I have the light tan original seats in there now but the drivers seat has broken in different spots several times. I am looking for either the same color or black but I do not want material that will fade to an ugly color or be impossible to clean. So does anyone have any advice they can send back. Thanks.

I have a cover I got from AutoZone that is a lighter cover, not a real heavy one. My Jeep stays under a carport so it works fine for that. If your Jeep is not under cover and will be exposed you might want to opt for a heavier duty one and those usually are right at $100 or higher depending on the brand and the fabric choice. Ones with the evolution 4 fabric are the best for rain and sun protection. While none of them are completely waterproof, they will pretty much keep your vehicle dry except for an extreme heavy downpour. Main thing is protection from the sun since over time it can be damaging to your paint and upholstry. Make sure if you do get one of the thicker ones that the fabric breathes well so that moisture doesn't get trapped underneath; otherwise you'll have some messed up paint.
