coolant sensor bad

i have a 98 G.C. 5.9, every now and then the V.I.C. tells me i have a bad coolant sensor. i have changed both coolant level sensor and temp. sensor, does anyone have any ideas?

Hi There,Only just read your post, I have a 98 GC LTD my VCI kept telling me the same thing I checcked the coolent sensor and replaced same kept telling me the same thing so put it down to a fauly in the vehicle computer, car keeps on going with no probs
