looking to swap out my 258 4speed, with a 360. so up for sale is a great running 1978 258 {48,000miles} with a 1974 shaved head-new valve job {about 9:1} motor is 100% complete from carb to oil pan- clutch fan to transmission, webber 2brl carb, new water pump, oversized ford cap and rotor, motor runs great and with the older head and upped compression should be about 150hp {stock rating was 118}, trans is a good running borg-warner 4speed with no problems. i also have a complete clutch replacement still in the box. looking to get $1000 b/o for everything. Motor is still in the cj so you can hear it run before ya buy. pick up only.
