Clutch Repair

Anybody have a ballpark figure on what the cost should be on a 90 YJ 4banger to replace the clutch? I will probably have a local shop do it.

Especially in first and second she hesitates, misses, bucks and sometimes stalls. It never acted horrible until yesterday. She has sat for a month and she was acting up bad. I couldn't even make it home and I will have to have it towed. How would I know if it was the transmission?? or something else. Any obvious signs that it is the clutch?

I just had to replace my clutch. Called around and one shop told me 289 plus parts. I asked how much parts were he said it'd total around 7-800?!? No other shops around here said they'd do it for less than $700. If you have a garage and an 80 dollar tool set(that i got for christmas) I bought a new clutch from autozone for $142 after tax and another 3 dollars for the hydraulic fluid to bleed the master cylinder. Saved myself $550 by doing it myself and it was actually way easier than i thought it would be.
