I am getting clicking noises from my 92 cherokee when traveling at low speeds. I dont get it when i accelerate, but maybe i just dont hear it because of engine noise.

Could it be my U joints? What can i check? So far performance has not been affected. Any thoughts??

That's what I was going to suggest......I know that's a simple thing, but Lord knows I've been messin' up pretty bad lately on the stupid, simple things.

yeah, it almost sounds like a card in the spokes.

but it gets worse when i turn and its hard to check out because it dosen't do it when it is idiling still.

any joints or linkage i can check?

check the front axle joints. Even if they look good, grease them really good and see if that helps.
