Church ordered to pay $10.9 million for funeral protest

I hope it puts a stop to their... damn... I don't even know how to describe it.

They are horrible.

well they might not see money but the property that the church sits on and any that the Rev owns is Albert Snyder's now...God bless the courts.

I'd love to think that our justice system is that just, but you know they will probably get it appealed and it will drag out in the courts for a long time. Though, like I said in the first post, the feeling of winning would be plenty reward for me.

...and most importantly knowing they cannot continue without liability.

They have been stopped. This is good.

this is great! Those people are retards...

fact of it is... they will probably never pay. this will go to appeal after appeal after appeal till it ends up in the 9th circuit court of san fransisco where the Justices are super liberal and their interpretation of free speak will side with these duesche bags.

What they have done is sickening. How in the world do they relate dead servicemen as punishment for the US' tolerance of homosexuality. One has nothing to do with the other. I hardly think God approves. Unfortunatley for the Church members, "Bearing False Witness" carries a much stiffer penalty than man's courts will ever deliver.

:::nodding in agreement:::

Like 90 percent of the church is family, but how much family are they? I'm guessing inbreeding has caused the insanity. And on the appeals, unless they actually segregated a gene and sent it to law school, someone has to pay for the lawyers that will keep up the appeals, unless there are idiots out there (different gene pool) that would actually believe their crock of shart.

Actually the leader is (was) a lawyer, and most of the adults are lawyers. I live 20 mile south of topeka, I see these idiots all the time standing on corners with their foul signs. The sad thing is most of the people holding the signs are their young kids.

That is just sick... There are SO many parents out there who do not take the time or energy to teach their kids what is and is not appropriate behavior, but they sure can teach hate... Oh yes... Generations upon generations teaching the old family hate, prejudice, and what have you to the kids... :x

Kind of like the Hatfield and McCoy feud... generations of old family hate and prejudice. In effect, that was brainwashing. I'd imagine there is/was some form of "brainwashing" with this so-called church group. Regardless, they purposely disrupt somber events (funerals) to fulfill their own twisted beliefs. :x

How would you like to live about 50 miles from these morons? For the record, they are despised around the state and were the reason the Patriot Guard was started.

What suprises me is, he is still walking. I can't believe somebody hasn't tried to whack him yet.

I can't imagine being 20 miles away from them! Yes, it's sad to see the kids holding signs and have no idea why. Seems they are always on the Topeka news stations.
