so i went wheelin last night and drove through a puddle of mud that was about 3.5-4 ft deep...i chugged through it slowly and not letting off the gas... got out threw it in 2wd and started going and my check engine light starts flashing! never happened to me before, ive had it come on bnut not flash. Now it reads code 43 which is...Peak primary coil current not achieved with max dwell time OR 43 Cylinder misfire OR Problem in power module to logic module interface...what could be worng i dont understand whats messed up someone help!!!

You got something wet (obviously). Check under the distributor cap for moisture, pull the plug wires and coil wire and put some of that electrical grease in there to keep water out. If it's none of these, and your Jeep is running fine, disconnect the battery for a while to reset the computer and see if it dried out. If it is running rough, keep checking all your electrical connections. Where is the computer on that thing, could it have gotten wet? I'm no 12 volt guru, but I think these would be good places to start.

disconnect the battery for a while to reset the computer

I think I've said this a million times now, but this method DOES NOT work on OBD-II computer systems ('96-up) as they have non-violate memory. You MUST use a scanner or correct the problem to clear the codes and or memory.

Also, sounds like you got water in the distributor or ignition coil, or posibly the computer wiring harness. One time I got code 43 and it went off after a day of driving (apparently the problem had fixed itself.)
