Hi long time no see!
My 2000 xj blower won't blow.
Resistor is new.
Blower is new.
Switch panel tested with dvm and IMO isn't the issue.
When doing 80 mph, the heat blows hot through the vents or floor, OR if I switch the center vacuum dial to AC it blows cold, but only if I'm going fast enough to force outside air through the hot or cold air making areas in the HVAC system. It's the blower not blowing the selected air I choose..or anything really. It's not getting power, and I probably didn't have to replace it.
So I know the vacuum dial valve works.
So I know the electronic hot/cold dial works.
The blower motor isn't telling the blower to blow.
Upon replacing the blower motor, I put my dvm to the input plug to the motor and got nothing. No power, regardless of how the blower/ vacuum dials are placed.
I checked the little blower relay fuse and it's good.
I checked the 40amp fuse under the hood and it's good.
I checked the relay behind the glovebox and it's good.
I'm stuck.
Please help
Thank you,
Ryan.
