i went wheelin a little today but had to take it easy as i have no tow hooks and i havent done any waterproofing of the breathers on the diff etc. does anyone know how many different breather locations there are that im gonna need to run lines to the air box from? theres the differential, maybe the transmission, what else? thanks~[addsig]

Maybe I'm missing something, but there should already be lines running up into the firewall on the front, and above the tank on the rear. Unless your talking about some other type of breather for the diffs. Those lines are supposed to keep water out. My point of reference is my Discovery. I never paid attention to the zj. Seems like my xj had breather tubes for the diffs.[addsig]

I think diffs both have one, and transfer has one on most, and some trnnys have one but not all. You probly at least did have breather lines but may not have now. Just going to have to crawl under there and look it over. I just replaced mine all around, gives a peace of mind to know. Tug[addsig]

My '88 XJ has Breathers for Front Differential, Transmission, & Transfer Case. I don't think the rear has one. Hope this helps
