Best Jeep for V8 Conversion

Thinking about getting a Jeep later this year for a
possible Hemi conversion down the road. Is there
a good engine/transmission combo to look for in a CJ-7
that would make it easier for a swap later on? I'm
envisioning a 331-354 Hemi with an auto transmission...

I think people say to start with a V6 when doing a
V8 swap into an S10/Ranger due to suspensions.
Is there a similar theory for V8 drops into Jeeps?

messure the 4cyl cj-7s if i remember right the 4 cyl mounts were simple and bolt on we redrilled the holes and made them work for my 354.
transmission is your choice everything back from motor will be custom so there is no real easy way about it, jeep did have autos and i would think that finding an auto tub might help your situation also the positioning of the cross member and depth might make life easier.
