Bear with me..

I know this has probably been asked numerous times before, but I can't really seem to find the answer in past topics.

I know for sure I want to put at least a 4" lift on my TJ but I'm still uncertain as to get a regular kit or the Long Arm. What are the major diffrences. I know price is one, but as far as the install, how much more difficult is the long arm setup. When I do get the lift I will get the SYE and CV shaft.

Thanks for any and all information and ideas as to which direction to go.

Anyone had any experience with this kit? http://www.quadratec.com/products/16190_000.htm

planning on a 33" tire and this will still be a daily driver/weekend toy, but no long commutes thankfully. :purple:

sorry for the question as I know it has been asked before....

The longarm kits require cutting off the lower control arm brackets, that's the 'point of no return' for many people who don't have a welder or the skills to reattach them if ever needed.

Other than that, I think the longarm will handle better onroad and off, as the control arms are flatter than a shortarm kit of the same height. But for a weekend wheeler and daily driver, I'd go with the shortarm as $$ would be the large issue for me.
