hey

i just picked up this new XJ, with no knowledge of prior service work done. In the carfax report, it says that it was dealer serviced at 185k miles, and somewhere near 140 as well. My question - what do you suppose happened at these "dealer service" points along the way? i currently have 217k miles, she's runnin strong. 5 speed, clutch is strong - no slipping or noises.

tomorrow she gets a new thermostat (sticking) and a wiring harness surgically replaced (corroded). new motor mounts are next.

And it didn't say anything about what they did to the vehicle? Usually on CarFax reports it says what was done...but an abbriviated version of it all.
