Heres an update from Jasper engines And Transmissions web site about what fluid to use in Jeep T5 transmission.

Yeah, I don't know about that one. I used 90 weight gear oil in my T5, that's what I planned on usind, and what everyone told me to use. Try it and tell us how long your T5 lasts. As for me, I'll stick to my 90 weight![addsig]

borg warner suggests ANY of their new or rebuilt manual transmissions to be broken in for the first 10,000 miles with ATF... then synchromesh fluid there after[addsig]

look for it at autozone, pennzoil makes a version of it, yellow bottle... some say driving a vehicle with synchromesh fluid in the transmission is better than sex[addsig]
