I just put in a slab in my back yard to park a travel trailer on.
I poured it Monday at noon.

the slab is 12' wide 20' long and 6" deep.

I installed heavy steel wire livestock panels and suspended them midway in the form, and they overlapped by 2 feet or so, I got complete coverage and I ordered 1.5 pounds of fiber mesh reinforcement per yard of concrete.

The concrete is supposed to be 3000 PSI(when cured)

I was just wondering when would be the earliest I can park my 4000 travel trailer on it?

I was thinking Sunday, but I don't want to screw up at this point.
The temps have been mild and the humidity has been high so the conditions for a slow cure and low evaporation are perfect.

Well...if this was extreme makover you could build a house on it the next day.

When we pour pier caps, they look for 70%-75% strength on the 3-day breaks (if memory serves.......I've been away from this for a few years). I would think Sunday parking (6 days) wouldn't do it any harm. I'm sure you didn't add any platicizers or retarders to the mix. Most of the 28-day breaks I've seen come up a whole lot higher than the rated strength of the mix.

the only retards involved was me and my two buddies working that mix as it slid down the chute!!:purple: :purple: :purple:

No it was just straight mix, 3000?? PSI
It was about a #5 slump when I got it so it wasn't too wet for sure.

You shoulda mad a couple cylinders while you were at it.......or better yet, a couple of 6" beams!!! Raise one a bit on each end, then back your travel trailer over it..........if it holds, you're good to go!!!!!! Redneck/hillbilly quality control!!:purple: :purple: :purple: :purple: :purple:

3000 psi 'crete 6" deep, a 4K lb trailer on 4 wheels, each covering several square inches.... two days...

How's the weather been? If it's been nice I'd park it tomorrow afternoon. Yeah really.

since the pour it has been humid and very mild only low 60's at night and 81 during the day and very breezy.

The slab sits in a very shady area with morning sun exposure.

Well, if thats the case, I'm heading out thursday and friday and when I get back Sat, I'm parking that thing on it's new home.;)

I wouldn't think twice about it.
