anti lock brake question

4wd drive light not coming on...97 TJ

My abs hardly ever goes off usually off road or when its wet
lately as I am slowing from a normal speed Breaking is normal. as soon as I hit 5mph or less and am almost to a complete stop the abs goes off and by this point I am barely even pressing on the brakes whats up?

by saying that is "goes off" do you mean that it doesn't work (as in the tires skid)?

no the sound that abs makes when it engages is audible

Look into disconnecting it.
