Annoying sound when key is turned.

Ya'll know that annoying EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the dash makes when you turn your key? Is there a way to disconnect something to make it stop?? I'm talkin about a 90 YJ here by the way.

Two choices: Either fasten your seat belt before turning the key, (a good idea in a jeep) or there is a wire on the floor that connects to the seatbelt where it is anchored into the floor under the drivers seat. Disconnect that wire, there should be a small black plactic plug on the end. This will disable the seat belt warning buzzer that annoys you...
