Can someone please point me to a good air intake upgrade/ replacement for stock on my 2002 Liberty[addsig]

How does the K&N filter only compare to the whole intake kit.? Are there any other fairly inexpensive upgrades I can do to increase performance. Will new wires help?[addsig]
