I removed the whole distributer without marking it, yea I know dumb. Now the I cant get it to start. I have fuel, spark. Put it at TDC compression a hundred times still nothing, what could i have messed up the sensor on the flywheel maybe. Any help would be nice, its a 2.5 wrangler. thanks

try turning the distributor 180 degrees. The front piston hits the top twice in the cycle.

I have done that plus more, I had another mechanic look at it and he gave up after two days. I was just wondering if someone else has went thourgh this and knows what to do.

To fix the seal on it, I have order the sensor on the flywheel and some other things like spark plugs and wires, it takes a long time to get to me because I am stationed overseas and I dont have alot of good mechanics to work on american vehicles, so I am on my own with this one, unless you guys can help me.

The book says to put the rotor button between the 1st and 3rd wires on the cap but everyone says to put it facing the #1 wire which makes since. Whos wrong
