My cj7 seems like it has no suspension and after driving on these city roads for a few
hours I need to go to the Chiropractor! The suspension is stock and I keep the tires
at about 38psi. I talked to National Spring and told me that they could make me 4 spring
packs with 8 leafs in each, total cost w/o installation, $1200, OUCH!. I heard of some of these Soft Ride kits made by the big name manufacturers, I forgot which one, they cost
about $450. I just want to get a halfway comfortable ride in my jeep without feeling beatup and knocked around after an afternoon cruise. Does anyone got any ideas?[addsig]

yeah the 38 psi is a big part of the problem. I run my 30 BFG A/T at about 29 all around........[addsig]

Check your shocks, and if they are gas-charged, get rid of them quickly. Get some smooth Hydraulic shocks and your spine and kidneys will thank you  [addsig]

Welcome and tell us a bit about yourself and your jeep. This will help a lot. I am not sure you can get springs softer than stock! And if they are from 1981 I am sure they are all broken in and soft as it gets. I think just maybe you are trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear! Tug[addsig]

you may want to check your springs at the hangars. If the bolts are tightened down too much they will not allow the springs to flex. [addsig]
