I installed power steering on my 74 cherokee. I moved the alt to the right side of the motor to allow for the pump installation. My friend disconnected the wires and does not remember what went where. From the voltage regulator, I have 3 wires; black, green and yellow/slate. can anybody help

Green goes to F (for field). Yellow is stator and black should be ground.
GM style regulator? That would be wired FIBS on the plug (field, ignition, battery, stator) Is it a 6 cyl? I would do a GM 1 wire with brackets from a newer motor and swap in a newer water pump that has the PS bracket built in.
