7 inch overkill?

Hey all,
I currently have a 4 inch suspension lift and a one inch body lift installed on my 99 sahara. I really want 37 inch swampers to fit under my baby so would adding a 2 inch coil spring spacer lift achive this? Or do you think that 37's are a little overkill for a daily driver? I have also busted out the sawzall and done a little trimming. Thanks in advance.

if ya got the cash and the ash to handle the rough ride throw on some 44s, and you can take it easy round corners, 33s to 37s is a big jump, try some 35s and maybe you wont have to regear[addsig]

Man, that seems a bit too extreme for a daily driver. I would encourage you to think through this and make sure that you are willing to put up with the negative things that come with this large scale mod. If you can handle it, more power to you![addsig]

since it is a daily driver, I am assuming you need to have the vehicle inspected. do you live in a state where they limit the lift?

Also if it is a daily driver, you most likely don't do extreme hard core wheeling like stuff you need rock buggies for!

33's or 35's will get you the same place as 37 in most cases for now! Save the cash and get a custom roll bar welded to the frame first, cause with meats like those, your gonna end up upside down!

Not sure how much your springs have settled but you could probably need at least 7 inches unless you go with some bump stops. I currently have 6 inches of lift and am running 35's on my 97 TJ and I barely rub like 1/4 inch on my flares at full compression. If you are absolutly gonzo go for the 37's but I have to tell you that you are looking at quite a large investment. You will need to do the gears and I'm not sure if you have a d35 of d44 in the rear but neither of them will hold up long to 37's if you even think about getting on the skinny peddle too hard.[addsig]

Don't do it using the stock control arms and/or stock control arm hangers. The control arms will be near vertical using the 6" spring/spacer combo. The Jeep will drive horribly and will tire jack (easy lifting of front tires, scary) on road and off. You'll only be able to lift this height safely with a long-arm conversion.[addsig]
