How do you get the rod out for the windshield wiper,my rod is broken

If you look where the wiper arm "go's into the wiper" you should see a little clip, pull back on it and the wiper should pull off.

Thanks I was talking about the rod inside the windshield frame that works the wipers

Oh ok, well the jys have a dash so you will either need to take that off or fold the windshield down. there should be access holes in your windshield(3-I think), you may have to turn on the wipers to move the linkage where you can get in there. There is a little clip that hold the arm on the wiper motor and the arm pulls off, Same on the other side. to take the peice off that that your wipers go on, take off the nut on the outside of the frame (where your wipers are) and that peice comes out from the inside of the frame. If you have trouble, let us know. OOPS- thought you had a yj... "dumb moment" well they come off the same way, just no dash in the way. you have to wiggle and giggle the rods out of those holes once you get them off of the motor and wiper swivels
