4L - edge performance pack

was watching TRUCKS the other day...and they finally did something i could use...kindda.

the put a performance pack on an 03 4L

i know the obvious benefits of the cold air kit...

but is there really much to gain from the larger throttle body? when i looked at the stock setup when i installed the TB spacer (came with a cai kit i got...so why not)...it didn't appear that the hole in the intake manifold was big enough to benefit from a larger TB.

and does the computer harness upgrade make a noticable difference??

just seeing if anyone has some real world experience.

my experience with these things on late model chevy V8s is that the TB isn't really needed untill some pretty high hp levels are reached...upwards of 400hp. and that most programmers and harness upgrades are not worth ANYTHING.

With all the info out there, the HP gains are minimal to the 4L till you up-grade the air breather, exhaust, cam, and head first. The TB is controlled to run slightly lean on 4L's to run efficient to the stock intake valves.
