4 Wheel Drive

It's highly possible. What's the choices on the transfer case lever?

Without going out and looking it's 4 all time / N / 4 low..................I thought I remember hearing that the front doesn't kick in until the rear slips or something.........I'm asking because I get like 5 miles a gallon of gas.

Thanks

It's 4wd all the time, and chances are there is torque going to the front axle regardless of the need for it.

Many owners of full-time rigs swap in a 231 or 242 transfer case for the part-time option.

What model transfer case do you have? It can be found on the round tag riveted to the back of the transfer case.
